What do you (in general) pay for dive insurance in regarding coverage for Dive Masters?

I searched and found a few around $200-350 on the boards. I haven't called any agencies yet because I am still waiting on a job this summer (for a period of a month or two) before I leave the islands for a summer vacation. I really don't intend on making a lot of money. Just want the ambience of the sound of tank compressors and whiney noobs. :)

what exactly classifies as a "whiney noob"? Mine is around 550 bucks for Instr/and was 220ish 5 years ago for DM

Don't worry about that. I chose a moniker to describe those who complain about customer service. Typically, the tourist who thinks the world revolves around them.

whiney=complaining
noob=newbie

Did that answer your question?

Annnnnd, I do appreciate your responses. Thank you.

Not trying to poke you with a stick here but if you are in this buisness, doesn't it revolve around your cutomer? And newbie's are your money source, as a dive master you should grow a very thick shell, kind of become a turtle so to speak.

No worries about the poke, this tends to be a revolving door debate I wish not to start. It was all about my statement that I wanted to get back into the field of customer service.

Hold on, let me drink in the irony. You're being scolded for your attitude on customer support in the Hawaii forum.

Delicious.

Haha, pretty much.

I pay CA$313 for Instructor. It's CA$205 for DM. This is through PADI-sponsored insurance broker Barton/ H.U.B. International.
