In March I made a nice trip through Mexico driving to Cozumel. Diesel fuel was 57 to 60 pesos a liter which is less than $2.40 a gallon.

That isn't right. For the sense of using round numbers there are 10 pesos in a dollar and 4 liters in a gallon. Diesel would be $5.70-6.00 per liter or about 24 dollars a gallon.

So much for proof reading. I guess I need to fire my secretary, HA HA. Let's try 5.7 pesos to 6 pesos per liter or just under $2.40 a gallon. Thanks for catching that.
