Rule 8 section II article 1 of the GLWC Rule book state the GLWC sign can only be displayed at GLWC Santioned events. Since this is not a GLWC Sanctioned event the sign can not be used.


But If it should happen to end up in your car after the Spring meet and greet and you happen to set it up at the guinnes thing than nothing can be done about that.

Trust me hanging around ALL FREAKING DAY Hauling my gear 2 or more miles or more if things get that bad then being told to gear up and standing in it for another several hours because their still not ready. IN THE JULY HEAT. Then getting in the water and hanging on a line for whatever minutes AND have to PAY for afformentioned IS NOT a mistake for missing. sorry Denny it is just not my style. Remember I only live a little over an hour to dive the wrecks on the Great lakes. for a little more cash I can dive a couple of wrecks. You all have Fun....

AMEN to that! Plus add wall to wall people in the water and you will have one of the biggest SNAFUs ever. My best wishes to those who want to be a part of history but I too will pass.

Denny ... I like to use Flickr as my photo storage location and then use the photo link button to past in the URL provided by Flickr to link to the photo. It then appears immediately in the thread entry. With Flickr you can upload full size photos and it provides 4 or 5 different size versions and the URLs to link to them. Even their free accounts, which is what I currently use, have a pretty generous monthly limit.

Well, the leadership (you and John) already declared the 3rd weekend in April for Spring M & G, so I thought I would wait for another month or so before getting things into the works. I have had 2 or 3 inquiries about it and have told those interested that that is the weekend they want to ink in on their calendars. You give the word, I'll start the thread.

your age is already setting in. It will be the last weekend in April. The 24th through 26th. That is the weekend we discussed. Plus we even stopped at the office on our way out in October and put it in Mikes Calander book. So whoever you told the 3 weekend too you need to let them now you were in err and tell them the proper dates. It wont matter it will be discussed enough that everyone will know the date. We will have the usual post of why cant we change the date. Why cant we change the location? What is the water temps? Can it be done in a wetsuit? How many campsite are there? It is my favorite time of year on Scubaboard. Good idea on posting the "usual questions asked" (below) on the initial announcement of Spring MnG; Give definitive answers and that will cut down a lot of redundancy on responses.
