I am at Caribe Blu now. Just aborted a shore dive due to heavy surf coming in to the rocks at the enty site. Had some nice dives today. Had dinner at Especias and it was delighful as usual. We are day to day on the diving so I'll keep in touch. Fingers crossed for us all! DSAO!

One of the car ferries rammed into the pier at the Calica (mainland port) several days ago. Car ferries are suspended until the pier is repaired. Without the car ferry, guess what...no gasoline trucks, no food in the grocery stores because nothing can be brought over! If wilma does grace us with her presence...we are REALLY in trouble!"

Hang in there Chrisiti! And don't mess around with this one. Looks like it could be bad for Cozumel in almost any scenario, particularly if it goes south of you. Be safe, lots of us want to be able to dive with you again!!!

I've been looking at the computer models, just about every hour (if this thing strikes coz, I'm going to cry).

They've gone from south of coz, and now the models predict it will skirt north of coz, maybe hit the tip of Cuba, and strike Florida....

Let's just hope that the trend holds and over the next day or so this thing is going to make a U turn and head out to sea!

We are fine! I guess some people took my post way out of context...the stores are stocked and we have gasoline. We just had a few days where we weren't getting any new deliveries and people were starting to worry.

I stocked up on water, bread, non-perishables this morning, and there was still plenty left and they were still stocking the shelves.

The latest prediction from crownweather has the course shifting a bit more west of where they had it this morning; it has the eye tracking just a little to the right of dead on to Cancun. That would mean some pretty hefty N to NW winds on Cozumel and a bigger risk of storm surge in San Miguel than that from Emily. You guys be careful, y'hear?

It's already raining buckets and has been on and off for hours!

Looking at the satellite, the outer bands are starting!

I still can't figure out exactly WHEN they are prediciting the worst of it to move through...tomorrow night or Friday morning?

YOU'RE going to cry? I hope for the people who live here and are stranded here and not because your vacation may be postponed.

We've already been through one bad one this year...barely recovered financially and structurally from Emily...and now facing another head on.

Christi Please keep your head down Please let us all know as soon as you can that all is okay. I will be away from this computer all day tomorrow but rest assured I am praying often for you and all my friends down there.

Please again take care of yourself and all the loved ones down there and when this is over and if there is anything you need you know when I will be there. Just let me know what I can do and if it is within my power you know I will.

Hugs and Kisses
