Not sure the Halcyon draw but unless you just must have a Halcyon this DGX set with 30 pounds wing will do everything the brand H will do at a fraction of the price at $399 complete. It will get you through your course and a bunch of diving wherein you may decide based more on your knowledge and developing opinion what is best for you rather than others.

I have used a few Halcyon wings. The build quality is excellent. There are no slots in the wings and must therefore use a STA, I hate that. They also tend to be wider than I prefer for a given lift. And this is personal I suppose but I tend to trim feet down and the Halcyon 20/30 just does not seem to be my ticket. I prefer the Oxy Mach V style wings (which the DGX is a copy of) because they are very narrow and seem to have a more rearward lift/trim bias.

Early Oxycheq wings did not have slots either. My Oxy 30 was finally modded after I became annoyed with STAs hiking my cylinder to the moon. Yep, I took a razor knife and cut in the slots. I then had my SIL (who has all sorts of sewing equipment) put in some grommet material and reinforce the cut in slots, very heavy denier.
