Last Thursday I found a pretty nice aluminum boat ladder that someone wishes they still had. Otherwise I've mostly found junk over the years.

Sun Glasses
A compass
A dive knife
A collection bag
A Halycon Lift Bag
Weights
A old railroad lantern
Fins
My favorite a real nice swiss army knife.

some 150# of lead (not including a box full out in the GBR)
about 10-15 dive masks
some watches
a handfull of sun glasses, including a Gucci and a D&G (same dive, very new).
a drum from a drum-set
a gold ring
earings
beer glasses
unopend beer bottles
a dive knife
a cellphone (missing the SIM card)
and loads of other stuff (I really need to go over my notes)

my wife found a glass-globe (as in "map") one day. We have NO idea where that came from.

I found a gold wedding ring about a month ago, whilst taking a group out snorkelling. I never find anything, so I was quite chuffed!! However I handed it into the police, as I imagined that the owner must be devastated...

Looks like people find a lot of stuff in the water! I have been fortunate to have found gold, diamond and emerald rings, gold coins, a 63 diamond tennis bracelet, countless dive masks and snorkels (found one yesterday actually!), dive knives, flashlights, slates, compasses, sunglasses, hats, anchors, old wreckage from unidentified boats and a plane, old bottles and pipes, and lots, lots more. It hasn't been all good... I have lost my share of items too. One of the best parts of diving is that you never really know what you'll see or find down there. That's why I love hitting the water day after day.

I found a toilet once. Head down, watching my compass. Ran smack dab into it.

this weekend. I was doing my safty stop, following a large fish, when I noticed something shining in the sand. I pulled it out and found a ring, with elvish text on it. Rather spooky, I must say. I'm half expecting a tall man in gray to come over and start sending me out on odd tasks :D

That would still be better than turning into a raw meat eating hideous looking creature that lives in a cave. Although he is a pretty decent swimmer. Think you'd be able to continue SCUBA diving?

I found a new mask in Cozumel last week on a night dive at Paradise reef. However, I left my Henderson neoprene pocket weight belt on the dive boat. Got one lost one
