I wanted to post and get the scoop on what you people like to buy in Bali, PNG, Palau, Figi, Caribbean----anywhere!!

I do not have a photo of my storyboards, but on my last trip I found a variation on that theme. This is a three dimensional carving and the legend is the Breadfruit Tree. Also, if anyone has the name of a cool shop for authentic local art, please include. For anyone who wants storyboards, in Palau, go to the local jail. Barter a little.
Of course, in the local shops, I try and pass on things like shark fetuses in acrylic from the Phillipines.

Depends where I go. When I went to Ottawa, I just got either a t-shirts or a hat from each dive shop.

For other more Exotic locations I try to get some kind of local artwork thingy.

where can I get one of those half-naked men in the background? LOL.

Now, do you think I am really looking for the T SHIRT answer??? You must be some kind of hockey thug. I should have known from that sick Avatar. Come on, I am salivating thinking about shopping in Bali....

we bought some of the spraycan paintings, real vanilla and tequila in Cozumel. We get Brittney little knick-knacks (maracca's or even the mini-pyramid from Chichen-Itza).

Whats wrong with t-shirts that have wreck pictures on them?

My whole office at work is littered with stuff I've brought back from Dive vacations...
Some of my favorites are a hand carved Komodo Dragon from Komodo National Park in Indonesia. A very heavy, silver kneeling Buddha statue from Bangkok and a big wooden Tiki man from Bora Bora. For small souvenirs, I always bring back magnets...I have 100's!! My newest one is a little wooden rickshaw from Hong Kong!

well, thats good.... maybe you could model it and post a pic. I mean I was going to make some of those and maybe I could benefit from seeing an example. See now, what you bring out in me? You guys, I started a nice proper thread with honorable intentions and now Melissa is talking about half naked men and I am trying to get you to model the t-shirt. Now somebody out there needs to post some ART. Elevate thy selves!!
