Steven....have you ever seen the baby squid hatching??
 
No, haven't timed that right yet. Have you? I've seen pictures of octopus hatching and they are really small.

I've assumed that these squid egg casings hold mutiple babies, so if they all hatched at once it would be quite a show.

I've posted this one before. It was the first and only time I ever saw one of these, an umbrella nudibranch laying eggs

No, that's the wrong coast for me! But I've seen octopus with eggs, like your last photo. Very cool! I didn't have a camera with me at the time.
