Only 20L on that beast? Am I calculating it wrong? I'm coming up with only about 160cuft of gas at 3000psi. That's barely more than you can cram into an overfilled LP108. I must be doing something wrong.
Your right.160cuft is approximately 20L which is what i am looking to buy.By the way anyone knows a european seller?I found that page from a research on large tanks and thought was funny or interesting enough to deserve a post. This guy's tank must be 50L

All that for a 20min dive at 8meters. Seems like overkill.

I also can't imagine the size of the wing you would need on such a tank to compensate for the weight of the air breathed.

Don't know what the buoyancy specs of that tank are, but you would breathe the same amount of gas on a given dive no matter how big a tank you were connected to (leaving aside whatever extra gas you would burn due to the work of hauling that thing around).

reckon all the dive ops will be putting T&Cs on their free nitrox when they get a load of that tank. Would like to see his pony

Just like a bicycle built for two...! Strap 2 divers to the tank and paddle around. Guy in back can let the guy in front do all the kicking!

Now there's a way to not lose your buddy....:D

I'm surprised an industrial gas bottle would trim so well. The ones I have seen cut open used in the US have a really thick bottom to withstand abuse of handling. I wonder if anyone makes doubles bands for them?

I have the fittings if you can find the bands.

I found my new pony bottle.

I have Catalina 43 litre WC and 345 bar cascade bottles which weigh 105kg empty.

There is no way he would be entering the water unaided let alone dive and maintain buoyancy with that BCD.

I suspect a bit of photoshopping here.
