Did it ever work reasonably well ? Is it still being sold ? Any of you with experiences and comments, please ?

You might check the airgun forums. Those guys liked them and there's lots of information. They kind of fell out of favor with the introduction of the cheap chinese imports. I don't know anything about their use in SCUBA (if any).

Not really practical for scuba tanks as it took 8 hours to fill an AL80
