You got the jest of it. It's great if you love diving, but there's not alot to see. Cost is $10.00 weekends only.

2 1/2 - 3 hours from where?
It's been awhile since the ONE TIME I dove there. Vis was brown and measured in inches. I think the max depth was 12'. You're about 1/2 an hour from the fill station. The last really isn't an issue - I doubt you'll empty your tank never mind going for a refill.
I don't think it should even qualify as a "Been there, done that".
That being said the LDS owner, who I think owns the Oasis, seemed like a really nice guy.
