Weird that it has butt dumps on both sides, though.

What is weirder is that neither YouTube video shows the wing like that. They show the dump is on the opposite side of the inflator.

That plate is also a medium - 15"
A large is 1" taller so the Mares wing would look a tad shorter on a large.

Measures an actual 16" in my photo. Should be a large wing, as that's what my receipt says ;-)

TASCPA, one more question on the Mares wing, how do the slots line up?

Slots line up perfectly with the rails in the lowest of the bottom holes as shown in the picture. If you needed to raise the plate and/or lower the wing it would block the lower slots as that second from the bottom hole is centered between the slots. So if raised, the lower tank strap would need to be only around the rails, not through the wing and plate.

Bought the wing from Leisurepro. No indication that it wasn't a new and unused wing. Only the one side has the dump valve. The other side looked like just a plug where you could move the dump valve if you wanted to. Didn't even pull it apart or unzip the bladder yet. I'll do that tonight when when done with work. Hopefully there's only one hole in the bladder.

Looks like it bolts right up no issues. Is it pretty much roll control cushion free then? I can't really tell by looking at it. Is the top bolt pretty much used up and no excess showing above the nut? I tried to find a nut that gave about 1/8" of extra thread with the bracket bolted directly to the plate. I figured that a wing grommet would take up about 1/8" or so of the extra threads and the nut and bolt would end up even.
That's really my only concern with this newly designed removable tank bracket, is not to have the top bolt sticking out to scarf up someone's tank.

There are roll control cushions about 3" long. The rail brace piece sits very snugly between the two. If this ends up being the perfect wing for your plate I'll cut them out. For now they can stay. If you want some closer up photos of that let me know. Can do that when I get home from work tonight.

The bolts/nuts are not tightened down in the photo. Only snug enough to hold it all together for the photo. I think they will be fine at their current lengths for this wing. Only thing that might change that is if harness webbing has to run between the plate and the wing.

Gotcha. A dump on one side and a port plug on the other. I guess that makes sense. Well, if there really is someone somewhere who wants a dump on the right side...

I would think the right side port plug MUST have a hole into the bladder on that side, too.

The wing looks pretty nice, in terms of the size and how streamlined it would be. But, it looks to be VERY close in size/shape to the VDH Argonaut wing. If I decide to replace my HOG for some reason, I will probably go for the Argonaut. Less expensive and only one dump, so no extra hole in the bladder. Or maybe my shop has an Oxycheq 18 somewhere in the back... Hmmmm.....

Just curious why you would bother to cut those out if the rail brace fits down in between them.
