Well, I finally had an opportunity to spend two hours in a pool with some new regs. This is the first time I've dived my TFX since I upgraded the exhaust valve to the slightly stiffer gray one.

Despite being hot-tuned to 0.9" WC (manual specification is 1.1-1.2") it was dry this time both inverted 180 degrees, and inverted looking back between my legs 210 degrees (exhaust valve vertical; mouthpiece low).

It looks like the new valve has done the trick! It's still the smoothest reg I own.

I seem to recall Rob saying it is an upgrade/recall to the exhaust diagram but don’t want to go back and look it up.

There are three new TFX 2nd's listed on everybody's favorite auction site @ $1350. Also a new yoke full set for $2150.
