Dive-aholic, you didn't get far enough into the GUE book -- The last chapter is about landowner relations and cave ecology. It's thin, but what is there to say except respect the rights of landowners and behave yourself on their property?

I think part of the reason the GUE book appeals to me is that it isn't a workbook, but is actually written in prose, rather than in an outline format. So it reads like a book.

Can I find a list of "how to" in any of those books. I have one from IANTD but I would like to read about what I was taught for example: a description of the steps taken when looking for a lost buddy, how to tie off for a jump and so on.

The NACD books have steps for a team making jumps as well as steps for a lost buddy search.
