I think the Last Dive is a very useful book to read - a lot of the stuff about equipment configuration and the like may seem "sensible" to us now but at that time it was being done for the first time. I am sure some of the people on the board that have been diving a long time will vouch for the huge changes in the equipment and knowledge of diving in the last 10 to 15 years.

Also have to agree with some of the posts about how stupid they were, but then I would rather learn from other peoples mistakes than my own in this type of scenario.

A must for all wanna be techies.

Also interesting to hear about these other books - I'll have to check them out.
