I think the rate of disappearance of DSLR is as follows
1. Exit low margin APSC segment saturated by mirrorless APSC and competing with MFT
2. Exit low value full frame DSLR to focus on Pro
3. When mirrorless have all the feature of Pro DSLR (by that I mean the D5 and D1X or whatever canon calls it) exit DSLR
Sensors to make DSLR still exist Canon has a 32 MP that went in the 90D Sony is coming up with one for their APSC however I doubt that from now onwards anybody will build a camera around it
Another point is that manufacturers use this new format to create a new lens mount so that lenses become obsolete and they can sell in an otherwise stagnating market
