Thread Ressurection: So Fixxer, are you headed to Austin this weekend still or what? :)

If allergies hold out I plan on going down saturday, filling tanks right now actually.

We are down by 1 diver so this dive will be less aggressive, 30 minute bottom time.

Awesome...I'll be out there Sat/Sun morning DMing a class. I'll look for you and come say hey...

They'll be two of us, I look just like my profile, white double 108's and drive a quad cab 2500 long bed that is graphite in color.

Plan on going down sat morning doing the dive then hitting the road, one dive.

Just a quick update before I hit the sack.

Got there late, had gear problems, got in the water late, never found the existing line therefore never laid new line.

I found the existing line by crossing it in the river bed so I"m still not certain where it attaches to the bank, what I'll need to do next trip is drop down the third set of stairs, take straight heading until I hit the last wall, go south until we cross the line.

We had enough gas to go back but due to arriving late and getting in the water late we lost our shot at it.

I won't be back down there to dive deep until after my Ouchita trip :-(

Passed through a layer of crud and vis got pretty good starting at 145 or so.

Bummer that we missed you...we took off @ 11:30AM. Thought you weren't gonna make it!

Guess we'll give it a shot in the next few weeks...

Hey FIXX...

Was at Ouchita last weekend and while it is getting much colder... 52 at 100fsw near the dam, the viz is getting better...

Also looks like Brady Mountain has shut down for the winter....

Was that you set up on the picnic table by platform 3, about 6:00 on Saturday evening? If so, I was with the group of scouts setting up to do an underwater pumpkin carving around that time... I'd have stopped by and said hello.
