It's obvious my point was lost on some! The business did not perform what they advertise as policy on two consecutive occasions, that is the problem. It doesn't matter if you think it's last minute or not!!!

No doubt, but the other hundreds of satisfied customers did get what was advertised. You just lucked out.

Do you gamble at a race track or casino? How often do you win? Similar concept. For every loser, there are winners.

I know what you mean. I am sure all would change as soon as I got to Vegas!

I have bought some stuff from them - over the internet when I lived in the South and actually been into their store since I moved to NY. I had been expecting a dive shop atmosphere when I went in but I didn't get that. They do state that they dive too but the guy that dealt with my order the first time I went in did not dive at all so I have to wonder what percentage of those working there do dive. Anyway, people earn their money and they have the choice to spend it. Nothing in this life comes with a 100% guarantee and it does boil down to personal choice. I like going to my LDS for the social aspect of it - I have also spent quite a bit of money there also and it is where I bought my dry suit as they made a deal that LP could not match - better price and free lessons in the pool!! Just keep an open mind and a firm grip on your wallet. :)

I am pretty certain that Leisurepro is basically the same outfit as the MO photoshop Adorama, as I've dealt with both, and have even had LP dive equipment come in an Adorama box. The dive equipment (two Apeks ATX 20 regs to use as auxillaries, three 1 mm wetsuits and a set of Mares Volo fins) was apparently new (with all stickes and tags, but no warranty cards) worked fine, though other smaller items (safety sausage, toolkit, etc) reminded me of the useless little tripods etc sometimes sold as "accessory kits" with cameras. I will likely buy from them again, as there are three of us diving, and we cannot afford the prices the LDS charges for such items as fins, bags, knives, etc., but not with much enthusiasm.

And most people working there are certainly not divers,,,just as little as most of those working for Adorama are not likely photographers. The very claim is really an insult to our intelligence!

After reading a wad of threads on LP and stumbling upon you Larry, I'll be calling you soon. Can you sell ScubaPro/UWATEC to Fort Lauderdale with full and valid manufacturer's warranty?
TIA.

No Scubapro does not allow any shipping of product - so unless you get to Dallas, I cannot sell you ScubaPro. Zeagle, Aeris, Dive rite, Oxycheq, OMS, Dacor, Mares, Sherwood... and on and on... but any purchase of Scubapro, Uwatec, Suunto, US Divers/Aqualung, Seaquest on the net are all gray market - no warranty purchases... and we don't sell without the manufacturers warranty...

Sorry!

I've had great success using LP. No Problems, but I have yet to make a warranty claim.

Purchased once from LP and that was it, ever tried to talk with their consumer service dept? I've had better luck with Divers Discount.

I just placed an order with LP that went well. This was how everything arrived and appeared. Looks good. Great prices. They even tossed in the regulator bag for free....

Early christmas huh? I have ordered from LP about a half dozen times with absolutley no problems. Maybe just dumb luck on my part but have been satisfied with what i have ordered and received.

who will service my UWATEC computer that i purchased a LP two years ago? SCUBAPRO is charging me $500 for a battery service and calibration.
