about 6 total.. and some of them where small...
in my digging i uncovered some kinda crab the pinchers where skinny and pointed, but the body looked like a regular crab...

i think i need to try a little more north the bottom was very sandy there.. and i beleave the clams like it a bit muddier
but i dunno this was my first real attemt to get them

what part of the cove were you in? When I saw people getting them they got in the water about 1/3 of the way down the beach from the parking area and went straight out about 20 yards.

i was in the parking are on that side street (with the stairs) went in there and headed north... spent about a hour max depth 20 fsw
(just for record i have never dove that cove till then.. yawn)
yeah lotsa hermit crabs....lots......and lots
