David Watson:
So what you're saying is that everyone has to stop making fun of me for having my light chord routed the correct way?

UNDER my long hose!

David

Dear lord JJ, please help this poor lost soul find his way back to the path of righteousness ;)

PS Lynne, you're doing a fine job.

NetDoc:
Here is the double secret inside scoop:

They stopped posting.

Perhaps they found something better to do. Perhaps they don't like the forums, the other mods or even me. I don't know: they didn't tell me. We can't force them to post though I miss both of them. They were never banned or asked to leave ScubaBoard, of that you can be certain. They are two wonderful people who are doing something different right now and the door is always open for them to return. May God bless both of them!

Personally, I think that Lynne has done a WONDERFUL job here. No, I don't think we need to personally verify that only "truth" has been posted. That being said, this IS a NO TROLL zone. If our DIR denizens believe a thread or post to be a troll, then it is. It should be gone. If an answer is part of the West Coast DIR crowd but not part of the WKPP DIR crowd then it can stay. This is not to eliminate controversy excepting that which pertains to the viability of DIR as an approach to diving. If you don't like the way DIR does it, then AVOID this forum.

Thanks, Pete.

I learned a lot from Pug, so thanks.

And I agree, that Lynn is doing a great job, here and everywhere on this board.

No Rick, I won't make out with you!

Ok, off topic. Why does every keep calling it a chord? Its a CORD! Grr!!!

For the same reason we route it differently and call it a hose, just to piss people off who seem to be wound up a little too tight. And then of course there's that whole patent infringement thing as well.

You need to clean your ears out, bro. What I said was, "Here, take my backup bottom timer". :D

If you take three cords and tighten them up and simultaneously strum them, you can get yourself a cord chord! Add a fourth diver and you can get some cool 7 chords. Then add a 5th for that nice #11 sound. :)

I actually see the other side of this all the time on a musicians forum I hang out at. :)

I'm with JimLap. I apply what I find useful and can the rest. I don't just in and start DIR bashing, because I KNOW what forum I'm in. If there is a better way to route my hoses, I want to know about it.

The forum is fine the way it is. You guys and gals carry on! I'm just reading posts and keeping with the TOS as JeffG posted.

The TOS JeffG posted? I´d be worried if I were you and look for confirmation that they´re the real TOS...
