Beautiful! LOVE Sailfin blennies...

NOOOOO!!!!
Didn't know there was a contest.. but if there is, it's not over yet, cause then ya'll won't post more pics! LOVE 'EM! Keep em coming!
Oh, there's no contest!

I just can't get those shots with my $550 setup. As it is to get the macro shots, I have to add my wide-angle lens, back off and use digital zoom in order to get partial focus :rofl3: (don't even ask me how I found that setting to work :rofl3: )

No problems Jim. You are really improving as a photographer and your shots keep getting better and better. Between you and Fishy, plus the others that have posted their shots, I am really enjoying this thread..'cept ya'll are making me jealous, cause your camera is better than mine. Camera envy sucks!

Here's some stuff from the last few days. Some are extra big to show details that I have questions about... sorry if this messes up anyone's display too bad.

This guy was found by Paul's ever vigilant and keen eye. I found one a couple of days ago missing its entire lower lip, I think from a fishing incident. I took pics of that one too, but they're too sad to post.

Thanks for showing me around, kev!

Amazing, we were on the same dive, and I never saw that frogfish or the snook.

My pics are over here (14 out of the 60 I took are presentable). http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/florida-conch-divers/283136-bhb-04-29-2009-pics.html

Okay, with weather like we had today who was I to say no to another bridge dive. The park was absolutely packed today, but there were not too many divers. I guess it helps that David Doubilet and his camera sherpas were not there today.

Visibility was good, water was warm and the current wasn't too bad. I did a 2 hour and 3 minute dive today.

At the risk of causing pixel envy, here are some shots from today's dive.

Because I haven't shot any lately, here's a Lancer Dragonet.

A new sea slug for me. Mysterious aglaja Navanex aenigmaticus.

A new flatworm for me.

A hermit crab hitching a ride on a sea cucumber.

And well, who doesn't like sea horses.

Stop editing in "Word"... and, drool is running down my chin. I have a few of those shots, just not as good! Can I show you some manatees? ;)

I have to check the calendar for Aquagirl2u...

Editing in Word is habit. Because of my dyslexia my spelling is not the best. I can't download anything to my work computer, so no spell check without Word.

I would love to get some manatee shots. We did the manatees a couple years ago on a couple of very cold days in early January. I was shooting a film SLR at the time. I had to swim back to the boat every 36 shots to change film while Kelly shot away with her digital camera. After we got back I had 10 rolls of slide film developed, and all of them were crap. I ordered my DSLR as soon as we got back.

From November 2008:

This guy swam by as we dropped our heads into the water off the east span...

Netmage, and others spotted manatees during this dive. None are sure if they were the same, but... There is a big contingent that moves across the flats during colder temperatures...

Again... this is BHB at another time during the year...

There were times I came face to face with some sleeping under the mooring balls... unfortunately, those shots didn't come out...

I had my 1st BHB dive today and it was amazing. Saw a seahorse, octopus, and many tiny juvie drums. Can't wait to post pics and can't wait to go back. :)

... and, I can't wait to see them!

I'm sorry I couldn't be there for ya! But, I'm sure you were impressed with what you saw!
