....Dove with Scuba Works. We were scheduled for a 3 tanker. 1st dive to the "Hole in the Wall". After heading through the 9-14' swells....

:shocked2:

Thanks for the thread on the Blue Heron Bridge. I'd heard about it for some time, but never ventured over there to check it out. However, after seeing this thread, I joined a few friends and went of there on Sunday.

We only did a short dive on the West end, which I suspect is not the best side, because all the divers were on the East side, but it was interesting nonetheless.

I took my camera and managed to take a few shots. I generally shoot wide angle, but I figured close-up was the way to go at BHB. Because I was diving with friends, I was moving around a lot, so I didn't take the time to snap any shots of the really tiny stuff, but I do plan to return soon and practice my macro shooting there.

Here's a few of the shots I did manage to take.

Sorry, having trouble posting the pics. I'll post them a bit later, when I make it to another computer - Sorry!

Glad you liked the dive. I thought it was just me when I didn't see any pictures. :D

I dove Sunday afternoon 4/19. Parking was a bear (no spots available when I got there) so take it as a 1st warning on afternoon dives. Signs were posted that the trailer parking was full and I had to follow a couple who were leaving to get a parking spot.

Vis on Sunday was a beatiful 25-30' and the sun was shining bright. No need to use a flashlight under the bridge span as everything was lit up.

Spotted about two dozen nudibranchs, many in groups of 3 and 4 (All are the same species, too bad). I was attempting a different lens configuration and it didn't seem to work out. I'll post a few of the pics I got just to give you an idea (not the greatest quality for macro)

Almost done editing now

There is some neat stuff on the west side too: maybe it'd be better for the wide angle: I tend to dive the west side most often (only have done the east side 2X) and typically see things like octos, squid, sea robins, red banded shrimp, flying gurnards, hermit crabs (some are big!) rays, spotted moray eels, sharp tailed eels, batfish, arrow crabs, bleny, sea cucumbers, young drums, all sorts of tropicals, etc. Some of the bridge and fishing pier pilings have virtual colonies of little critters. I don't see all of these on amy one dive, but some combination of the above. I love the pictures of the nudibranches and all the neat little things that are being posted by the divers, with the really good cameras, that tend to dive the sand area south of the park or the east side : I suppose I am just pointing out that there are intersting things under the fishing pier and west span too. I dove the fishing pier after work yesterday and visibility was fantastic: probably 40 feet or so.

I'm not sure why, but I'm still having trouble posting the pics from Sunday's BHB dive. I usually post a link from pics I saved in my Scubaboard Gallery, but that doesn't seem to be working.:dontknow:

Let's see if this works::signofcross:
