No problem; if you look up Riviera Beach on Google earth, find Blue Heron Blvd, then pull to the east. Then you can see more specific details.
Also, if your profile is correct, and you're under 25 dives--it's a great dive for working on buoyancy. As for the pics here and what you'll see--I usually warn people that on first glance, it's one of those dives that you scratch your head and say, "Huh"? Go real slow, learn to look for the not obvious--that ball of black stuff could be a frog fish or a sea hare; that hunk of crud hanging from an old anchor line could have one or more seahorses hanging on it. That old corona bottle might be an octopus house, etc. etc. I would personally recommend gloves....there are TONS of bristle worms...ick. And, if you're in the heavier current portion of the tides, you'll sometimes need to steady yourself-I don't like the idea that I might fat finger one of those guys.

Enjoy; I'm sure we'll see you there eventually!

KBeck is right about the worms.
I don't wear gloves personally because
its harder to work my camera, but
I seriously considered them
after I put my hand on one when i was there.
My hand turned purple and I have a scar

that was good advice KBeck gave about the fireworms

:D okay. sounds great! one more question.. up there we take my neighbor's boat out of Riviera Beach Marina.. can we anchor around there?? or do you still do "drift" dives through there?

Ned and Anna DeLoach have posted a trip report from the Blue Heron Bridge with a fantastic video of spawning frogfish from Anna and several of Ned's photos. Take a look at their marinelifeblog.com

Yes, you can anchor, just realize there is a marked swimming area that you don't want to go into. It would probably be best to get the boat into the area and anchored well before the tides comes in and the divers head out in force.
