What is the terrain like walking in and out of the shore dives at CoCo View? Will the thin soled dive slippers work, or would it be better to have a thick soled dive boot?

I use thin sole. Not much there but a sand path, but urchins are mobile. Do the shuffle.

Some folks use Crocs, Tevas, or water shoes, then leave them on the platform in 5' of water.

We usually SCUBA all the way in to 10" of water, there is so much to see even that shallow. Solves the problem of stepping on anything.

I always used scuba to the platform. At the platform, I took off everything except my skin and shoes and walked in along the path. I never tried it, but the path is sandy with heavy traffic. I never noticed anything that one could step on. I think that I could do it fine with bare feet. But since I had my dive boots on, why take them off? It would just be something else to carry and I run out of hands. Coco View has the easiest shore exit/entrance that I have ever seen.

Thanks everyone, I was hoping it was sand but wanted to be prepared if there was sharp coral.
