Barry Sanders was one of the most talented running backs to ever play the game. It is unfortunate he played for the lions for all those years, but it is incredible to see one guy stay with a team that long, and I applaud emmit smith for the same thing. Who knows what Barry might have done with an offensive line in front of him, but he was truly an awesome back...no doubt one of the top three (WP, BS, & ES)

Running behind THIS YEAR'S Dallas offensive line, Barry Sanders would have quit all over again.
No offense, my Michigander friends, but it's a little hard to feel sorry for the Lions when they've beaten our Cowboys two years running....
Think it's not hard listening to my Michigan girlfriend gloat about that??
Man i have to agree, that is not good. Maybe it has something to do with the colors??????
By the way, all you have to do to get back at your girlfriend is ask her what the Lions Win/loss average is when compared to the Cowboys.
No comparison .... our %*&$# Lions have sucked for years!

At least the Stars and Red Wings have played three exciting games so far. Should be a great rivalry this year, as usual.
No doubt! Saw the wings play last weekend, they scored two goals at the start of the game in less than two minutes.
They have three awesome offensive lines but are weak on defense right now. That is their achilles heel unless they get healthy.
If it weren't for the Wings things
would be pretty grim here.
