For anyone thinking about attending, this is a very well organized and well run event. Its also a lot of fun, they give away loads of prizes, and you get to do something good for the island. But book early!

This is a serious question - I will be assisting a friend move, and I would literally just show up and help between ferries.

Jax, it is possible to sign up the day of the event unless it is sold out (not as of right now) https://catalinaconservancy.ejoinme...terCleanup/Register/tabid/410556/Default.aspx. The biggest issue is usually the ferry (Catalina Express) having open spots on the morning of the event. I would strongly suggest you book those early.

Singles there is a time limit for how long you can be down and the max depth is 50 ft.
