I'm sitting here at UVA hospital in Charlottesville, VA at my sick mom's bedside. You people sure help the time pass faster!!! Of course, I have time to add my 2 cents to every thread, so thanks putting up with me!!

I hope your mom gets well soon, My dad is 92 and my mom is 87 so...I've done a little bedside time with them on several occasions. Here's a sure fire thing to lighten the mood; I'll put on my sunglasses, take my fathers cane, and then impersonate a blind person in search of the hospital vending machines.

It's ironic how our parents spent so much time caring for us when we were little and now that we are "bigger" we re-pay them with taking care of them as they get older.
