Hey guys, I'm wondering if there are any good Air Integrated wrist consoles that are tethered instead of wireless.

I hear a lot of complaints of wrist consoles loosing connection but want a wrist console because a hosed console is rather inconvenient.

any suggestions?

Won't get any complaints about the GAlileo losing connections.

A thoughtful solution would be to clip a SPG to your BCD in case of an interruption in connectivity. It's a $75 remedy to the concern. In any event, I have not heard of a hose connected wrist computer...

There is one that runs 2" fibre optic inside a ball jointed conduit through your suit.
The O.V.A. IMAGINATIVE Mk0 by ACME.

Not looking for a hosed solution, but basically it'd include a dongle that would attach to the HP port of the 1st stage and instead of wirelessly transmitting the data, it'd use a thin single wire to the computer.

I plan on keeping a hosed SPG/PDC on my 1st stage, but would rather save it for backup because looking down at it all the time is annoying.

Do you have a link for that? I wasnt able to locate it via google.

Why not opt for wireless? They work 99.9% of the time. Who wants a entaglement hazard of wire no less. Loss of contact? Take a peek at the SPG...

Dude, you've got a solution looking for a problem! The closest thing out there to what you want is a Cochran Gemini with the optional 36" cable.

Lenaxia, forget what you have heard about wireless AI computers "always losing connection." Most of the people that state that as an issue have never even used one. They are just claiming it as an issue based on theory. Current generation models rarely lose the connection and when they do it's only for a few seconds. I have done hundreds of dives with my Oceanic VT3 and it's never been an issue. Just find one you like and buy it.
