Apparently the crane operator had one too many beers before going to work that morning. Poor guys on the stern are having worst day ever.

lmao...oops...on a other note i just watched the guy across the street go out with the boat attached to the suburban ..low profile trailer and tires ...with 150 outboard with the skeg about 6 inches off the road motor still down and locked...:shakehead:

yeah... that was a new Carver that was being delivered. The front sling strap/support gave away and it went in "nose first". the rear sling ripped off the props and the rudders (notice them gone in the pic).

There were two crew members on board. both went swimming

This is what it looked like before it went on a "dive"

yeah... the above pics happened over in Perdido Pass. They sunk a $2.5million boat. (a 61' Weaver).

The captain apparently didn't let a little thing like channel buoys/markers get in his way. he decided to cut across the end of the jetty when entering the channel and bottomed the boat out on the jetty.

Luckily the water there is pretty shallow.... (and he didn't sink all the way).

needless to say, Alcohol was involved. the captain was arrested for "boating under the inflence".

so not only did they trash the boat, he got arrested and I bet he lost his job as Captain also and perhaps his USCG license for a while.
