I went here yesterday and today. The sandy bottom in the cove was swarming with tiny (3-inch long) baby lingcod and gunnels. I didn't have a macro lens so I had do do my usual "diver with whatever" self-portraits. My newer strobe didn't fire on the first dive (I think I'll stick with homemade from now on) so here are the photos from the second dive (vis was only around 15 feet on both dives).

By "newer", do you mean only 10 or 15 years old?

I think these are the first pictures I've seen where you're using a snorkel.

Nice shots. I like 22.jpg.

About that.

Yes, I ran out of air at 65 feet and had to use the snorkel to breathe from on the rest of the dive. Actually, the swim out to the left-hand point is pretty far so instead of wasting air, I swam out (and back) on the surface with the snorkel.
