I have one of the few insurances that will fully cover everything in case of DCS, I still have DAN

I honestly don't know if my insurance would cover a helicopter evac but the ~$200 per year I pay DAN is negligible enough for me to not care to do the research and in the meantime I'm supporting dive research and the hotline to help other divers. I'll never understand why divers try to "save" money not paying for DAN.
