My dad told me that he signed me up just a few hours ago... I am excited yes ... and I do have a job which paid for my cavern course and my dad said if I made straight A's last year he would sign me up for a class of my choice which I earned and my left over money from the cavern course is going for half the cost of my ADV nitrox
Who'd you sign up with?

Your father obviously either doesn't care about you, or doesn't know the risks involved. :shakehead:

I would also work on getting your facts straight. In this thread you say you have 48 logged dives, in the other thread you have 67. Did you just go do 19 dives in one day? In the other thread you also said you already have:

PADI Master Scuba Diver, Nitrox, Wreck, DPV, Deep, Dry suit, Peak performance bouyancy, Altitude, Under water hunter, and Under water navigator certifications as well as 67 logged dives and about 115 non logged dives

In this thread:
I am 15 years old turn 16 in march and have about 48 logged dives and Advanced open water and Nitrox certfication

...is anyone else here seeing a disconnect? Dude, quite the lying. And honestly, you've been doing wreck penetration dives, just because you've taken a PADI wreck class? PADI wreck classes are completely useless and teach you NOTHING about actual wreck diving.

According to what you've told us (if we can believe it), you are FIFTEEN YEARS OLD. SLOW THE CRAP DOWN BEFORE YOU KILL YOURSELF.

You don't know what you don't know, and what you don't know can kill you.

x2.. In various threads you're AOW, Rescue, and Master scuba diver, with different numbers of dives. If you're going to make things up, well, then you don't belong here. If you're not making things up, at least be consistent... Work on remembering what actual certifications you have so you don't look like an arse when you post different things in different topics....

I am glad you read the thread Sparticle. I am having difficulty reading blobs of text without punctuation and then loose interest.

From another one of your threads in COMPUTERS board...

I am looking into buying a good dive computer I am not worried about price but I am looking for a cool looking high tech computer... any suggestions?

:rofl3::rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3: :rofl3:

ok sorry went a little over bored with the master scuba diver course in the class but still technically a rescue diver

Am i the only one that is physically gasping for breath after reading one of his multi line posts with no punctuation ?

How about the pilot's license or rebreather experience listed in your profile? Or the age on your myspace page being different than the age you claim here?

Go overboard with those claims too?

You say you are "technically" a rescue diver; are you ACTUALLY a rescue diver?

How many of the "unlogged" dives that you refer to were "overboard" as well? (And I don't mean boat dives.)

For your sake - and his - I hope any cavern/cave instructor you have in the future is reading some of the these threads. It's pretty clear that you lack the requisite maturity and discipline to dive in an overhead environment, and I think you'll find that any reputable cave instructor won't put up with this kind of nonsense.

I've thought about this, and I don't think bashing is the way to go. We've all done stupid things, so I'm not going to blast you for it, as long as you're willing to think about it, and learn.

If you need a dive buddy, PM me. I'd be glad to dive with you and help in any way I can with your skills in getting towards your goal of a cavern diver. I suggest that you learn from these posts and move on, and be more honest in the future. Posting conflicting information isn't the smartest thing, but we were all 15 once, and I've done some pretty stupid things in my diving career, but people pulled me aside and suggested that I think about what I'm doing. Hopefully I can return the favor.
