In conjunction with Lynnhaven Dive Center
will be hosting a
Technical Diver Demo Day
Saturday 3 Feb, from 9-5
This event is free and intended to introduce divers of all levels to exciting the world of technical diving.
The Tech Diver Demo Day will be held at Lynnhaven Dive Center (go to http://www.ldcscuba.com/about.htm for location).
This event will consist of 8 Stations manned by VBTech members:
1 Tech diver basic personal gear
2 Exposure suits - drysuits
3 Tech diver advanced gear (including cave and wreckdiving)
4 Decompression and gas mixes
5 Diver Propulsion Vehicles (several types on-hand)
6 Rebreathers (several types on-hand)
7 Tech diving media - videos
8 Transition to tech diving
Everyone is invited - experienced technical divers can help us "tell it like it is", recreational divers can see what all the fuss is about, and non-divers can see what they have been missing out on.
