I am fairly new to diving, having about 50 dives and recently completed a rescue course. My goal for next year is to further my training with deco and advanced nitrox as well as focusing on wreck diving. Short term, I want to explore the Oriskany and open up the wrecks of the Great Lakes where I travel for business often.
With that said, I am looking for recommendations for an instructor to take me to the next level. I have been happy with my LDS to this point, but do not have confidence in their TDI instructor based on input from others in the area. (might be a great instructor, but he has a serious attitude issue toward recreational divers. This will not mesh with my mindset)
I live in the Atlanta area, but would be willing to do a weeks vacation or weekends somewhere in the southeast for the right instructor. Agency does not matter to much, so long as the training plan is not based breaking the training into numerous courses just to sell more books.
