Maybe this is a stupid question but why no split fins?

Made for flutter kicking moreso than frog kicking. You can frog in splits but its not what they are good at. You can't really backkick in splits. Flutter kicking is not very good at all in potentially silty environments with overheads (real or virtual). Blade fins have the attributes technical divers need for caves & wrecks. If you are just deep wall diving something like splits are ok, just not very versatile.

Makes sense, and now that you say that I sure I have heard that along the way. I have the split fins, but for some reason can't get myself to use them. I like my blades more for some reason I guess. It just helps now when I get into tech I don't have to get use to a different type of fin.
