I'm sure Christi wouldn't come to your home city and tell you where the Bear craps in the woods..

If I happened to be an expert on bear excretory behavior then yes, that would really annoy me if a Dive Operator out of Cozumel came here and tried to tell me I didn't see what I saw.

On the other hand, someone with construction experience should not be told I didn't see what I saw from someone who's a Dive Operator and admittedly knows nothing about construction.

Yeah, I did notice that early on.

But the roads is back, taxis are back sometimes. Have a good trip.

Yes, the "traffic circle" a/k/a roundabout a/k/a glorietta is still there...it never wasn't there so I don't know what you mean about it being "rebuilt." It wasn't blown away by the hurricane. However, taxi's are not just sitting around waiting...this is not a taxi station and it is an area of constant traffic flow. Yes, you can catch one that is leaving the airport or one that is passsing through the areas but do not think they are lined up waiting for people to come out of the airport.

Charles... take a chill pill. Read the post again, All she said was the traffic circle is still there and always was.

Many of us, as you do, know from first-hand experience that there was construction on the airport road.... (and I'm not even in construction and i know that!) Christi never denied this, in fact, it was never mentioned. No conspiracy, just not what you asked about. Is it possible you assumed that since there was construction the circle was gone too?

As far as the taxis, you got your answer... they just aren't supposed to queue up there.

BUT how do you know the Dive Operator doesn't have similar construction experience to you? Just because she owns a Dive shop, you assume she knows NOTHING about construction. Or at least not as much as you do.

Christi never denied that there had been construction on the road, but pointed out that the circle was not rebuilt and that the Taxi's are not permitted to line up there. Those are the rules, which to my knowledge are common and most Mexican airports in that only certain people are allowed to take passengers from the airport. If some taxis are choosing to hang out in the area hoping to get a fare, that is their choice, but Christi was pointing out that they are NOT supposed to do that.

Yea, actually we do have bears here in North Carolina. Only black bears, however. No grizzlies. The black bears don't get nearly as large. Here's some more info on them:
