Hello divers,

I uploaded some images from last weekend's dive for those who may want to see (ScubaBoard Gallery - Tarpon Dive). It was a really good day of diving...30 feet depth with a bottom temp of 88 degrees, vis was 20 +/-, and the ledges look healthy. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

Thanks for the report!

I've never dove Tarpon! Who did you go through for your trip? Was it one or two tanks? What was the cost?

Enjoyed the pics, just awesome!

I didn't go out with a commercial dive operation so I don't have answers to your questions. I think there are a couple of shops out that way though, Narcosis Scuba (Welcome to Narcosis Scuba Center) comes to mind. Perhaps others here will mention more dive shops in/near Tarpon?

I'm familiar with Narcosis. I have acccess to boat when Im down that way, what area around Tarpon did you dive?

Great pictures.

That is the one. I have never saw it here.

I haven't seen it here either, but apparently it's a rather well known species (though not necessarily in the Gulf all the time).

We were about 5 miles out of Tarpon on a ledge.

Great pictures.

Thanks!
