We are planning a combination wildlife safari and dive trip to Tanzania in March 2022. This will prove to be an amazing trip. The wildlife safari includes the Great Migration. I have attached an online brochure. If you have any interest, drop me a message.

How did your trip go? Interested to know the reponse you received. I will be putting several of these types of trips together. If you don't mind, once details are all ironed out, can I forward you details.

I work with a couple of adventure tour companies who do this kind of trip all the time. The only challenge I might see is what do you specifically want to see on land and underwater. For example, the land migrations are seasonal and follow a huge circular path, and some underwater critters are also seasonal. This doesn't mean you can't do both but the timing might not be perfect to have the best odds of the desired encounters above and below the water. Additionally, on land you may encounter either the dry or rainy season. And underwater seasons can impact visibility.

HI Compressor, I'm interested to find out the reasoning behind your comment? I am basee in South Africa and i the process of putting together several underwater dive trips ad want to combine then with a safari element. Both will be photography based, offering targeted offerings like whalesharks and migration, or reef diving and specialised wildlife hides for photography ...along those lines. So interested to know why you say it wont work on one trip?
Hi @seacamera: What I mean by my comment is that ithere are situations (say a week off from work) then it's difficult do both objectives at the same time. Also, going on a dive trip in my family means diving 3-5 dives a day for a week or 2. The only free time we usually have is to eat, sleep and refill the tanks. The rest of time is spent either in the water or getting ready to make the next dive.
