Not practical for me, but curious about something other potential customers might be, too, so I'll ask.

1.) For a single traveler it's more expensive. Does your group offer to try to pair people with same sex room mates, or is it just 'bring a buddy or pay more?'

Hope you guys have a great trip. Looks bucket list-worthy to me!

It's hard to combine the two objectives together. I'm passionate about diving and photography. Can't really do both on a single trip.
Best wishes for a successful adventure.

I have done it. No problem. You can store your dive gear in the Safari Outfitter office and then pick it up after doing the Safari.

Also I climbed Kilimanjaro before diving in Pemba on the next trip to Tanzania.

Diving in Pemba & Zanzibar are OK, better than Caribbean, but not as good as Red Sea.

Hey drrich2...good question!

The intent is to be able to pair up solo travelers. I do have a solo female and a solo male signed up. The intent is to NOT charges any kind of single supplement unless an individual specifically wants their own accommodations.

Thanks, Greg

Dan, I'm going to Zanzibar next June/July. Considering that I live in Southeast Asia and can dive here, do you recommend I make the trek over to Pemba Island to dive there? Is it special/worth the effort?

I know a number of divers who have made a trip of this sort. They all loved it.

If you have been diving in Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Maldives, then Pemba & Zanzibar won’t be as interesting as SEA. The reasons I went there were because I wanted to do safari & hiked up Kilimanjaro. Since I was in the neighborhood & never been diving there, then why not check off my bucket list.

I wouldn’t do it for just going there for diving. But that’s me, who has been spoiled with Raja Ampat. 😜

HI Compressor, I'm interested to find out the reasoning behind your comment? I am basee in South Africa and i the process of putting together several underwater dive trips ad want to combine then with a safari element. Both will be photography based, offering targeted offerings like whalesharks and migration, or reef diving and specialised wildlife hides for photography ...along those lines. So interested to know why you say it wont work on one trip?
