I was given two sets of twin 50's both USD and all four tanks were 6351's.
Scrapped out one set, had the other hydroed and visualed last year at a
LDS. This year they changed their policy and no longer fill them. I traded
the manifold and backpack on a deal with a different shop, and out of
curiosity he checked the tanks. One had a crack through the bottom four
threads. Glad to see them go. Also unloaded six very old half inch tapered
thread steel 72's, it's just getting to be too much of a pain to have them
checked and filled. Still have some older Alum 80 Catalinas and one steel
72 with three quarter thread valve from 1970 in use. 6351's are an accident
waiting to happen, glad they are gone.

If you still have them, Ill give you $20 for both of the AL tanks , Even the one with the crack, plus shipping. I can cut the crowns off and use them for training aids for teaching Eddy Current use.

I think that is exactly what the 50's fate is, to be used as training aids.
Thanks for the offer though.
