I will be in cozumel and cancun for 16 days in march for my cave cert and some ocean diving. The first part of the trip is the vacation portion and looks like I will be doing a 3 day 4 night 9 dive package thing in coz but I have not locked into anything yet. My concern is tanks, what types of tanks can a person get easily down there. I expect aluminum 80's to be most popular but will there be hp steel 100's, aluminum 40's, aluminum 63's, or other less than normal tanks. I prefer to dive with a steel 100 (s) if I can in a wetsuit and my bp/w and I also sling a 40 usually so I was just curious as to what is available. Thanks

Contact the 2 dive shops I use...this shouldnt be a problem if they know ahead of time.
www.anitadivers.com or fishboy@prodigy.net.mx This is Troy at Pelagic Ventures.
Remember shore diving is not too great in Cozumel if you are wanting that. Between current and nothing much close to see at the shoreline. You need a good dive operator that will work with you. You are asking for 40 and 63s so wondering if you have kids?
Are you needing a place to stay? Can find you good accommodations or a house rental if you need. Affordable Trips And Tours is my website with contact info.

If your looking for a shop in Coz using steel 100's, Aldora uses steel 100's consistently and gives out others upon request.

yep, use Aldora...they use only steel, 120's on their boats, 72's @ the Villa for shore dives.......
