Trim weight. My feet sink a bit with the wetsuit configuration I hope to use in the gulf this April. I'm thinking a pound up around the neck of my tank might be just right.

I have two 1# ankle weights that I use for that (SeaSoft).

Just make sure that these are lead, or they will not weigh
much underwater.

I thought they might work better than an ankle weight

Clearly, if your feet are heavy, ankle weights aren't for you.

I don't have any experience with these, but I do have some XS Scuba pouches (WB101 - Single Weight Pocket) that I use with my singles rig. Same problem: foot heavy. A few pounds on my upper cam strap trims me right out.

What wieght and tank are you using now and how is it distributed?

I'm going to try the opposite next month(going with a pair of ankle weights)....always have used an old pair of either Turbo II's & III's(fairly negative bouyant) but both are on Roatan @ the house....Ordered a pair of split fins to try & when I dropped them in the pool, saw they are only slightly negative bouyant....so, I ordered a pair of 1.5# ankle weights to hopefully get my feet good & under me like I'm used to.....Will find out March 7th in CZM......wish me luck......lol....

Sorry Blackwood I wasn't being clear. I meant I was considering trying to attach an ankle weight up around the neck of my tank, but I'm afraid it will be too big. I like those weight pockets but they won't work easily on my tank strap.

al 80 with 10# on a belt. 6# on my spine and a 2# on each hip.

Woo who multiple Spartans, might get crazy in here now?

What kind of BC are you using? I had issues maintaining horizontal, kind of like heavy feet, with a jacket style BC in training (also an uncomfortable squeeze, could have been a sizing thing though) so I bought a back inflate/wing type BC and didn't have the issue any more. YMMV
