What is the best way to remove old stickers on steel and aluminum tanks after doing a Vis Inspection? That razor blade scrape is a giant PITA. Don't want to use chemicals or heatgun. Anyone have any ideas?

No scraping?
No chemicals?
No heat?
No chance.
Boil a kettle of water then pour it slowly over the offending sticker. Then peel it off.
Much greater energy density than the air from a heat gun and, since the absolute hottest the water can be is 100 deg C here is no risk of overheating the cylinder metal and damaging it.
