Tank Marker Lights

I have tried the glow sticks only to find that they don't work some times because someone has allready snapped them in the store. I haven't yet figured it out why someone would do that but they do.

Because we were all kids once... like arming the mousetraps at the hardware store or walking out with bag of M&M's... Not saying it was right; just saying we were kids...!!! I even armed a Rat trap once... now that would have hurt!

Now if its an adult doing it... well, as we all know... there are some real miserable folks out there who give little to no consideration to others!!!

For night dives do people generally use glow sticks or the battery powered tank marker lights?

I dont use either but if I was Id buy a battery powered one, "somewhat" better for the environment than the glow sticks that often get discarded underwater.
