Is there an online resource to help decipher my tank's hydro test information?
I see lots of info (numbers and letters) but I'm not sure what most of it means.

the "3" is just part of the "U.S.A. Governmental Specification", that is straight from the "Luxfer's SCUBA Cylinder Visual Inspection Guide"
me personally, i believe it could stand for 3000psi. i would have to look at other cylinders to verify though. from my classes, it's just part of the specs

as far as i know, the 3 is standard ...

3A, 3AA, 3AL, are just the names of the alloys

you can have other alloys, but you need a special certificate

rigdiver:
question: what does the "3" before the AA, A, or Al stand for?:crafty:

DOT material Specifications:

3 is for seamless cylinder
4 is for welded cylinder (you will not see this on Scuba cylinders)
A is for carbon steel
AA is for Chrome Molybdenum steel
AL is aluminum
AAM is for Chrome Molybdenum steel Metric service pressure (you will most likely see this for new cylinders made for Canada)
ALM is for aluminum Metric service pressure (you will most likely see this for new cylinders made for Canada)

For more details and information you can refer to the Codes of Federal Regulations 49 (CFR 49). They are available on line.

cool..

Luis, have you seen the 3AAX designation? or perhaps it's 3AAAX

No, I have not seen or read anything about that, but that doesn't mean much.
Do you know what it stands for?

Are you sure it wasn't a hydro station stamping XXXXX over the original cylinder stampings? That would mean "condemned".
