Has anyone good/bad experience using Tank-Ha Dive Center in Playa del Carmen?

We dove with Tank-ha, Dive with Mike, and Scuba Caribe. SC was complete disaster. Terrible service and very poorly run operation.

Dive Mike was okay. Tank-ha was well run. We dove with Alessandro (spelling). He was good paid close attention to my girlfriend that was new to diving.

Try to do the dive at Tortugas. We saw a lot of sea turtles.

I dove through Tank-ha a few years ago. Small boats, reasonably well organized and they had a guy to video the dives when I was there. That was nice.

Yes they were the best. Before I travel anywhere I will be visiting the boards on this site to find a good dive operator. I have recently been on a few dive boats that were individually owned and I like them. I did not do any research before I dove in Playa del Carmen. If I was to return, Tank-Ha would be on my list of possible dive ops, but I would see if there were any others that were consistently spoken of on this site as a good dive op. If there were then I would try them as well.

I am diving Tank-ha at end of November. I hear they are great one of the best in the area. They are are very accomodating. They respond quickly to emails and requests. I hear of them through a friend who uses them on a regular basis.
