I am new to the board, but I like the fack the the people that are in oaruon or want to dive near an area (Tampa) can go to that area to look for local stuf (dives). If I was wanting to dive in the Keys I would look for threads relating to that. It kinda makes since to me..... However I am just happy to have this place to meet people that do dive. I guess my vote has to go with Missdirected, it just makes since. If there isa big trip like to the Bahamas I would look in the main forum for trips like that?

Anyway, it is not a lot, if you take out all the off-topic/hi-jacks. Essentially, there are some discrepancies on what was agreed on for clubs. My understanding is there would be one Central Conch Calendar where everything is posted; local and bigger. However, there are two that disagree, whom happen to be mods, so we are going nowhere. :sad: As it stands now, all the discussions were in vain and the clubs are only to be chat rooms.:11doh:

Actually, the new set-up hadn't been totally implemented before El left but even with what was there it was working brilliantly (better than I ever imagined).Some days, I wonder if it is all worth it then I go dive with all the people here that have come together and it feels better.

Yup, I have 5 bottles worth, but by the time my friends picked over it all, I am down to 2 bottles, a 7year old and the anejo reserve

So what is the final say on this? Where do we stand?
It is summer now. Diving season is full blown. The board is going to get exceptionally busy. I just went to pm my lil sis all the threads for local gatherings coming up, and since they have been moved willy nilly, they are everywhere. Instead of local Tampa stuff being in the Tamp Club forum or in the calendar (where all dives, local or otherwise, were agreed to be put, i.e., one main conch calendar).
