of course i know! john betrand was the captain of australia II and skippered the boat to a history win, overcoming a hundred plus years of oppression and wrestling the Amercias Cup from the hands of the NY yatch club!

eg, my family is italian, hubbys is greek and we have phillipino, canadian and russian in the family also... we all aussies though

btw, russell crowe was born in new zealand, nicole kidman in hawaii and mel gibson in the US but all claim to be aussies
