Hello Jay, we have been actively at work and we are currently at version 2.5.8. We have been slowly addressing bugs and issues (and a few more have cropped up). I cannot promise when a major revision will be out, but we feel that the updates from 2.5.6 to 2.5.8 have made some good improvements, and we are always working to improve the app.Hi @Shearwater Cloud,
I might be too eager with a 3 month follow-up, and I realised 2.5.5 was recently released (Shearwater Cloud Version 2.5.5 for Mac and Windows is now available! - Shearwater Research) but ... just hoping that a major release might be around the corner?
Hi Macan, RMV calculations are indeed useful values to have. While I cannot promise anything, we always take customer feedback into consideration when making our product plans. I have added your request in our ticket system for review.@Shearwater Cloud , since you will be fixing the missing SAC rate, could you also, in the process, provide a calculated RMV value given the user entered tank size?
Hello Glenn, I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues getting your serial number and other pertinent information to show up. That should indeed show up even from the chamber dive. Could you please email info@shearwater.com? We will be able to get you in touch with a developer who can hopefully work out your problem. All:
I downloaded the shearwater cloud app and have synced to my Perdix ai and updated to the newest firmware for the Perdix ai.
My question is on the right side of the screen using desktop there is a spot for the dive computers serial # and other pertinent information. Mine is blank. How do I get the information to populate?
Currently My Perdix ai is brand new and I have not dove with it yet, but I thought the dive information from the chamber would show up.
Thanks in advance.
Glenn
Will do first thing in the morning, thanksHello Glenn, I'm sorry to hear that you're having issues getting your serial number and other pertinent information to show up. The latest version of Shearwater Cloud (2.5.8) should show the End Surface GF in the Computer Information panel of the dive (above where it states the dive mode).Yes I know that SW cloud doesn’t show SurfGF (only GF99 is displayed in the chart). But when you move the chart marker to the end of the dive (depth = 0, you’ve surfaced) the GF displayed should be the surfacing GF. But it’s not. Any ideas? Will setting the “end of dive” time from 10s to 1m help? The intent is to get what the surfacing GF is at the end of the dive.
Also, on an iPhone or iPad, it’s difficult to get the chart/graph marker to move to the very end where depth = 0. Lots of trial and error to get the marker aligned to exactly the very end. Try it. Hopefully this can be fixed.
SW cloud is a very promising app. Lots of great features but still so much of the “basic” functions can be fixed/improved. I hope SW continues to give the SW Cloud the support it needs to get it up to world class quality like their DCs.
It was a Tec dive and I always check SurfGF on both Teric and Petrel upon surfacing. The DCs show 67%. The SW Cloud shows 39%. Can’t be right.
Also the latest SW Cloud iOS update released today is now showing avg sac rate of zero on all previous dives. .
Hello everybody. The latest version of Shearwater Cloud (2.5.8) has a bug with user-inputted pressures not calculating SAC rate. Our developers are actively working on a fix. Sorry for the inconvenience.Avg SAC rate is zero for all dives on windows and android too.
Hello broncobowsher,I really want to be able to turn off a computer from the log. I run 2 different Shearwaters (Petrel and NERD) and the dive numbers are not synced. So looking at dive history they are intertwined. I would like to download all the data, compare everything. Especially once I add some transmitters for the NERD. But when skipping through dives looking for historical information I really want to be looking through one computers worth of data at a time.
Maybe filters would be better? I could see this even better. Want to look up some history at a common site? Just filter for that site, sort by date, now I can see what the historical water temp is going to be. Filter by computer would work perfect as well. This is how data bases I work with help us filter for data mining at work.
