When I dived yesterday my vyper acted really strange. When I started the dive we went down to 4m, but the vyper said it was 1.0m. After a short stop at the surface to discuss with my buddy we decided to see what happened when we went down again, this time the vyper worked as it should. Does anyone know how it could show the wrong depth in the beginning?

Pure supposition - if you didn't wash the Vyper after its last use it could have crystallised salt on the sensor which would reduce pressure transmission and so show less depth. After a few minutes the salt would dissolve and full pressure would be applied and registered.
